Not Rendering Evil For Evil

Proverbs 24: 17-18 Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, And let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, And he turn away his wrath from him.
The passage today challenges us to rise above religiosity and put on Jesus like a cloak. Our attitude to those who fall should not be to gloat or rejoice. Rather, we are to intercede for them, standing in the gap for their restoration. This is life on the road less traveled!
