Assuring Grace

As I contemplated our walk with Yeshua Jesus, my thoughts were of Apostle Paul and all he endured for the sake of Kingdom. Despite the negatives experienced in his earthly journey, he encouraged himself by keeping his eyes on the upmost prize, Heaven.

Whether he was shipwrecked Acts 27:27-28:5, beaten 2 Corinthians 11:24, Jailed Acts 16:16-40, or endured a thorn in his flesh 2 Corinthians 12:7-9.

He never allowed obstacles to hinder his faith. If he could not visit parishioners, he wrote them. If it was impossible to make a journey, he sent another. His beliefs, and his spiritual walk, depicted from the outside what lied deep inside; His desire to please Yeshua Jesus.

He took advantage of what, when and how principle. He did what he could, when he could, and anyway how he could.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 KJV I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course; I have kept the faith:  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

I have fought a good fight!

We can learn from Apostle Paul by taking observation of what we have done with our gifts and callings and whether we are using them to the best of our ability. I have finished my course! He finished his Kingdom assignment!

In considering our kingdom assignment, can we say we’ve left no stone unturned, that we truly put our hands to the plow?

I have kept the faith! Paul remained faithful to Yeshua Jesus and the Kingdom!

In a climate where many are anxious, restless, looking for a quick fix to a long lasting problem and where leaders are jumping ship, confessing to love another god, few are holding true to the gospel and keeping the faith.

Now is the time to make our calling and election sure! May we all end up on the right side of the word and look forward to our crown, our Lord, and his appearing!
