Assuring Grace

I met a lady on the plane who was talking about how grateful she was to God. That amazed me. Most of the time, we don’t count God’s blessings and privileges because we take them for granted. Typically, we talk more about what has not worked and forget the loads that have gone well. He loves us so much that He keeps giving us the opportunity to follow His commands and serve Him wholeheartedly.

We take it that God will forgive us and repeat bad things over and over again. He gives us time after time and chance after chance, but let’s not forget that time will come when we have to answer for our disobedience.

In Leviticus 10:1-7, the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, were careless or too familiar with God to burn strange fire without their censers. Of course, they were killed.

But why should they do that after the glory of God came down? Leviticus Chapter 9:26. We can throw tomatoes at them, but let’s look at ourselves. How have we taken the grace of God for granted after He had honoured us?

We have to trust in Him and have faith in Him. He will see us through anything. He is able. He gave us the power and knowledge we need. All through the Scriptures are written His plans and will for us to follow. He also gave us the Holy Spirit so that we won’t fail. If we remain obedient and give God the glory and praise He deserves, He will bless us and supply our needs accordingly.

We must seek first the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness. Everything else will be added unto us. Matthew 6:33. Every day, we must do better and grow stronger in the Lord. Satan will tempt us every second of every day. We need to cover in full body armour. Ephesians 6:10-17. Be ready for battle with the Word of God. Please don’t worry about anything; trust in Him totally. Strive every day to build a strong relationship with Our Father. He wants to give you the desires of your hearts. All the things that He wants to give us and do for us are all for the betterment of our lives.

Let’s keep each other and our families uplifted in prayers. We are now the vessels of God. 2 Timothy 2:20-22. God will want purified vessels to serve Him.

It calls for gratitude for being honoured and selected by God. Thank you, Jesus. We love You, Lord. Amen

Our Father does all things well. And it brings Him good pleasure to do for us, but we must be ever so thankful to Him for all he does for us, and we should always take the opportunity to brag on Him. He is so good to us. He deserves all the glory, honor and praise.

So true Sis. Thanks for sharing. We as humans have a tendency to focus on what has not worked, forgetting the countless times the Lord has come through for us. Lord give us a great full heart to count your manifold blessing 🙏🏾

Thank you Cynthia, this writing is very encouraging. It causes self reflection and how we so often take the mercy and grace of God for granted. Father forgive us and help us to do better. God bless and show us our hearts, each and everyone that reads it.

Goodmorning Cynthia thanks for sharing this encouraging word. I thank God for His grace and mercies are renewed every morning,Lamentations 3:22-23! Romans 2:4 God’s Goodness leads us to repentance. Thank you Jesus!

The Bible says,he who knowingly commits a sin over & over again,is crucifying Christ Jesus. So do we take Grace & Mercy for granted ? Or do we over look what we do,bc we r so busy watching the mistakes of others ? The war,is within ourselves.Jesus said, forgive 70,times 7.Lets start by having mercy & Grace on our own selves.Submitting ourselves to God,by following the example of Jesus Christ.Which is self love. The mercy & Grace is,that I r able to see, that I need God's mercy & grace.Where others, move throughout life, receiving these gifts, but God doesn't call them to Himself.Where would we b sis,if God didn't have mercy & Grace on us? HE chastises those he love.We have all come short, but God's grace covers us Thank U sis, love U !

Cynthia your reflection is a beautiful reminder that God’s grace is both a gift and a responsibility, calling us to gratitude, obedience, and deeper devotion. May we continually seek Him first, stay vigilant in faith, and honor the privilege of being vessels chosen for His glory.

Powerful!! I spent the how day in gratitude & remembering how far the Lord has brought me.. as I was walking home this evening I was reminded of the ten lepers and the one that came back to give Jesus thanks & was made whole in Luke 17:11-19 & was weeping.. we take for granted the little things like our health but our health is our wealth without it we can do nothing so I am reminded that each day is a gift from God and each breath is a blessing to receive the breath of life. Truly greatful to ABBA father.
