A Love Relationship with God the Father

Assuring Grace

While sitting here thinking about God the Father and how much He desires to express His love to us because we were created in His likeness and image. He’s always thinking about us, and we are always on His heart. He knew us even before we formed in our mother’s womb, even before we were born.

Perhaps because He is not tangible to us, we tend to shun Him or stay away from Him, even though His deepest desire is to spend time with us. Many seem to think that because they can’t see Him, He does not exist. But in reality, He wants to abide in us through a deep and intimate relationship with us.

He desires that no one be separated from Him and that no one perish, but instead come to know Him and have a relationship with Him.

He wants us to spend eternal life with Him. He wants to enjoy us, and He wants us to enjoy Him as well. However, to do that, it requires a relationship with Him. Through that relationship, we get to know and enjoy Him through His presence in our lives.

One of our greatest desires in life should be to have an intimate relationship with the God of the Universe. He created Heaven and Earth and us. He breathed life into all of us so we could live.

God the Father is the creator of all life. Through a relationship with Him, we will receive His love, care, direction, guidance, affection and instructions on how to live for Him.

When we come to know Him, He comes to know us too. Then we will develop His character, conduct, and righteousness. We reflect and look like Him and are drawn closer to Him.

Over time, our relationship with Him will deepen, and we will become increasingly sensitive to His voice and His love for us.

As He is faithful to us, we will also become faithful to Him and want to please Him in every way.

He loves us so much that He wants to protect us, keep us, and uphold us in His love and care forever.

Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. James 4:8
