3 Questions on Jesus' Return

Here are three questions that are no longer private conversation for believers but for all who are diligently waiting for the return of the Lord, especially given the trials of 2020.

Matthew 24:3KJV And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us,

·     When shall these things be?

·     What shall be the sign of thy coming?

·     And of the end of the world?

  As young people say, in 2020 “Many became woke” They ponder their existence, their purpose and their eternal future. The Pandemic took many by surprise. Its spread worldwide, from nation to nation, was something many have never seen. With the accompanying loss of lives, income, businesses, houses, cars. Civil unrest. Unusual weather patterns across the world. It became obvious there was more happening than seen by the naked eye.

 While some people are aware of the uncertain times, we are in, the majority are not. They have continued as though nothing is happening, which is not the best place to be. Those are who are ignorant are like those mentioned in Matthew 13:15 KJV For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

 Our prayer is that The Lord will give us eyes to see and ears to hear! It is time we arise out of sleep and awake out of slumber. We cannot afford to be spiritually indifferent to matters which now surround us. It is not profitable to stick our heads in the sand, while waiting and hoping for things to change; go back to normal.

 It is time to seek The Lord we make our “calling and election sure” 2 Peter 1:10. For the end is nearer than we thought. No one knows the day nor the hour, the Lord shall appear, Matthew 24:36, we only know He’s coming. Let’s not just anticipate His return, let’s be prepared for it!
