Hear the Voice of the Lord

Oh Lord, You are the light and life of the Word. From the foundation of the world, the beginning of time, Your Word was spoken, and it illuminated everything with Your life and light.  

You spoke Oh Lord, and it happened. You commanded and it came to pass.  

The Voice of You, oh Lord, is in your people and it is powerful like thunder penetrating the atmosphere, breaking down barriers of hate, violence, racism, religion, and whatever you put your breath on.

The Voice of You, oh Lord, is in Your prophets and they will speak ‘thus says the Lord’, and the hearer will be blessed by Your truth.  

The Voice of You, oh Lord, is in the ear of the Church from leaders who will speak Your truth, and man will be saved, believe, and have knowledge and understanding of You.  

The Voice of You, oh Lord, is crying in the wilderness of this lost and dying world, saying, ‘Repent of your sins for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, turn to me, change direction, and be transformed; put off the old man and put on the new man and live’.

The Voice of You, oh Lord, is calling all who have a listening ear “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls”.

The Voice of You, oh Lord, is saying ‘I love you, I laid down my life for you, believe on me and you will not perish but have eternal life with me’.

The Voice of You, oh Lord, is saying “If my people who are called by my name will humble themself and pray and seek my face, turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and heal their land”.
