Hearing The Voice Of God

Hearing God's voice is the greatest privilege of a child of God. To hear the voice of the Creator of the universe, the omnipotent, omniscient, omnibenevolent God is a great honour which we should cherish and desire.
"But He that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger they will not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers." John 10:2- 5 KJV.
"I am the good shepherd and know my sheep and am known of mine." John 10:14 KJV.
Jesus is the Shepherd and the door into the Kingdom of God. He is the door because He says in John 14:6 KJV I am the way the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
He is the good Shepherd and will protect us so as not to be easily targeted by the enemy. He protects us from all attacks Satan may throw our way, arrows of sickness, lack, trials, and tribulations. He will protect us from false doctrines and false teachers who do not care to instruct men with the truth.
In order for us to benefit from all the inheritance God has in store for us, we need to hear His voice when He is speaking to us. Our ears should be tuned in to hear the voice of our Good Shepherd. We should not listen to the voice of demons because they are voices of deception. There is so much error and deception through wrong doctrines and we should not open our ears to such at all costs.
The Holy Spirit will instruct and teach us to hear the voice of God, which is so needed this time. We need to acquaint ourselves with His voice by spending time in His presence, studying His Word and listening to messages, praying, praise and worshipping. These will help us develop intimacy with Yeshua Jesus so that we can hear Him each time He is speaking to us.
Hearing His voice strategically positions us for victory, as Daniel said in Daniel 11:32 KJV, "But the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits".
Let us unclog our ears in order to hear the voice of God, which supersedes all other voices. May God open our ears so that we only hear the voice of our Good Shepherd.
