Just for me: Part 2

Isaiah 53:1 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
This statement summarizes the life of a Christian. It is simple and uncomplicated, with no air around it, gentle, with no pride, nothing to show, no self, no glory, no display.
It would be nice at this point to do a self-examination; are we like Him? One may not gloat at the moment because they don’t have anything to glory about yet, but it is on the inside waiting for when the thing shall arrive. It may not be seen outwardly, but it is in the heart.
We should resist the temptation of following bad examples of those who knew Him partially but not the fullness of Him. The bad example of those who preach half-truths, or quarter or one fifth; every truth hidden is hidden.
Thank God for all the beautiful people among us but if emphasis is on outward beauty, we have missed it. Simplicity is still the key. Holiness of life is the main beauty that radiates from the inside to the outside. May we look like Jesus.
Christ was born was wrapped up in a swaddling clothe in a manger because there was no room in the inn for them. He was not even at home or in a special hospital as a prince but with the sheep depicting a humble beginning.
Luke 2:7 KJV And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
He was referred to as a carpenter’s son with a poor background, yet He is the creator of heaven and earth. Mark 6:2-3 KJV Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Judas, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
There was no air of affluence around him, so was not recognised and honoured. John 1:10-11 KJV He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
He made himself of no reputation and humbled himself. Philippians 2:6-8 KJV Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
