Assuring Grace

Jesus took away our sins and shame and set us free from the captivity of Satan. The book of Isaiah 53 described this purpose so clearly.

Isaiah 53:1 “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?”

Many are in doubt of the sovereignty of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus. The debate on creation, evolution, the big bang and the existence of heaven and hell all add up to the confused state of man. Some religious sects say he is just a mere man, a prophet, a messenger. A lot of people thought His existence is mere history or a myth. Nothing will change the fact that He is The King of kings, Lord of lords and soon coming King. The denial of His resurrection started the very same morning they found the tomb empty and with the passage of time, it has become even harder to believe.

Matthew 28:13-15 KJV “Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.”

John 12:37-40 KJV “But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.”

Though Satan tries to hide the truth from men, the power in the blood is still saving many from sin. The power of the blood is still breaking the fetters of demons holding men in bondage. The only force that can break the hardened heart, take away the stone and replace it with a heart of flesh. The blood that washes as white as snow, that brings joy, peace, restoration and hope. Christ Jesus did it all for us!
