Assuring Grace

Our Lord Jesus prayed that we may be one, as He is with The Father. Love brings about unity in the family, church and school. It keeps friends and family together. It helps us to look out for one another positively.

John 17:21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Unity is the state of being united or joined as a whole. Division is the opposite of unity.

What brings division?

As a student, worker or retired, division can come about making wrong decisions and the influences we allow. If we have strong opinions about a topic, we can clash and therefore dividing what was or could’ve been a strong bond. This can be seen when we are not adhering to the central message of salvation by Jesus Christ. It is necessary that what is found in the Bible is the same thing being preached in the Church–nothing less, nothing more. If different people teach us different things that do not link, we’ll be living our lives in different ways, unsure of what we are being thought. This will cause misalignment within the Church.

Division in the home can come about dodging chores or eating the extra snack in the pantry. We can avoid this by being grateful for having siblings, parents or relatives who care for us, and for having company. We can avoid division by deciding as one, what should be done as a priority, and hearing what others have to say.

What brings unity?

Keeping in the rank we are placed in.

We can only walk in one accord when we:

·     Make the main thing, the main thing by adhering to what the bible says.

·     Esteem ourselves in lowliness Ephesians 4:2; With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; forebear one another in love.

·     Embrace meekness.

·     Consider one another.

·     Be kind to one another. Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.

·     Brotherly love.

·     Honour and prefer one another.

·     Share truth in love and love fervently 1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

·     Love is not just in words, but a lifestyle!

·     Do to others what you want done to you.

·     The walls of unity are unbreakable if we don’t break rank - Joel 2:7-8 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march everyone on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk everyone in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

Elohim is never divided. We’re better together! look out for/after one another.

Strongest defence against Satan is Unity.

Wonderful Destiny, Elohim pours out his blessings where he sees a people and heart that is one (united). This is why I believe that even when people are united in evil, they often succeed because Elohim's word is exalted above his Name. But as scriptures assures on in Proverbs 11:21, though hand join in hand to do evil, the wicked shall not go unpunished. Continue in this thy might Desi, you are an example to all.
